Information you provide directly: If you use our ballot-lookup search tool, we collect the address, city, or ZIP code you enter in order to return relevant candidate and ballot information for your area. We do not require you to create an account or provide your name or email to use this feature.
Automatically collected information: Like most websites, our servers automatically log standard technical data when you visit, including your IP address (anonymized after 24 hours), browser type and version, referring URL, pages visited, and time/date of visit. We use this data solely for operating and improving the site.
Cookies and local storage: We use only essential first-party cookies and browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as selected state or filter settings) within a session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
ProLifeVote.life displays publicly available civic data from third-party APIs and RSS feeds including Congress.gov, the Google Civic Information API, Open States, NRLC, Live Action, and LifeNews.com. We do not control how those third parties handle data on their own platforms. When you follow a link to an external site, that site's privacy policy governs.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.
Location queries are not stored persistently after your session ends. Server log data (including anonymized IP addresses) is retained for up to 90 days for security and analytics purposes, then deleted.
